Let's Go Ride!

This page is dedicated to get you riding while visiting Hawaii. We will help you find someone to ride with, recommend shops with solid bike rentals, and finally, help you decide which trails to ride.

Step One - Find a Ride Buddy

It's always more fun to ride with someone, especially in unknown territory. Here are a few options for finding folks to ride with. Check the MTB Hawaii calendar for upcoming group rides or races that may be happening. If you use Facebook there are a couple of options. The first is a relatively new, but active Facebook group called 'We Go Ride'. This group is used by folks on Oahu to meet up for rides etc. For the Big Island I recommend joining the 'Big Island Mountain Bike' Facebook group. If you want to ride on Big Island, this is definitely the place to find out what's going on.

For now that's about all the resources available but as more are created we'll post them here. Mahalo and happy trails!

Check out these local resources to help you find a group or individual to ride with.

Step Two - Find a Bike

Need a bike? We recommend you contact one of these local shops to rent.

Step Three - Find Trails

To quickly search trails by difficulty, or genre use our Trail Quickview:

To find more detailed information on individual trails visit our full Trail Directory:

Or check out this list of local favorites:

Need to get to the trail but don't have a car? We recommend the local bus. Bus routes cover the entire island and each bus comes equipped with a bike rack. From Waikiki you may catch Bus #55 out to the North Shore where the majority of trails are located.

Sorry but we are lazy and haven't mapped out Maui yet.

We've been a bit lazy when it comes to mapping out the trails on Maui. We'll be making several trips there this summer to get the job done. For now visit the Maui Mountain Bike Coalition homepage where they have many of Maui's trails listed.
